7800225 XBB Dongle OBD II (Master unit)

The XBB Dongle is a control unit that, together with the XBB PowerUnit relay, enables the installation of auxiliary lighting in CAN-bus controlled vehicles. The Dongle and PowerUnit are used when the excitation current cannot be taken directly from the lamp power cable, but the high beam signal must be received via the OBD-II port. The Dongle is installed in the OBD-II port, from where it receives the high beam signal and sends the information to the PowerUnit in the relay harness. This PowerUnit then controls the lighting installed in the vehicle based on this signal. A total of four PowerUnit relays can be connected to one Dongle control unit.

Note: This is only the Dongle control unit; it will not function without the PowerUnit relay.
